Jameson lake south is a great place to go birding and fishing! My daughter and I come up here quite frequently. And we love eating at Jack’s! Ginger and Anna are always friendly and helpful and the food is great! Homemade, tasty, and reasonable. We tell everyone local that they should drive up and try it.
Our new favorite place! We discovered this gem on a day drive, but will be going there as a destination from now on. The food was amazing, the view stunning, and the ladies there were so kind and friendly. Thank you for a lovely experience! I would drive 4 hours for lunch any day!
Jacks Resort is the best, friendly true fishing experience! I'm always a single gal camper and find it a safe and friendly community! The owners are awesome,food is great, very quiet and I come back year after year. I fly fish the secret spots with great success! Always sunny! A must visit!!
We had a wonderful lunch, the food was delicious, and visiting with Ginger was great. This resort is out of the way but worth the drive. We felt like we were family! And we plan on bringing family and coming back soon..
My husband and I love camping and fishing here. We go every year! Wish we could go more. Anna and Ginger are amazing and we love to hang out and chill with them. Always great food and service! If you havent been to the restaurant, it's one you definitely need to check out. Can't wait to go soon!
This place is amazing the staff are super friendly, the food is delicious and the atmosphere is super chill and beautiful. This is a family owned restaurant, and they have homemade pies wich are just to die for, if you haven't been you're missing out on one the highest quality burgers across America thats how good they make them. Try the gunner burger. Now this place sets the proper standard for American burgers.
I’ve been taking yearly trips to Jack’s Resort with my family for as long as I can remember. Every year there are still new things to do. There are tons of areas for hiking, biking, fishing, swimming, boating, and even herping. Ginger and Anna are always lovely and kind to everyone. The restaurant has incredible burgers (and other kinds of food), I’ve never found pie anywhere else that tastes as good as it does at Jack’s. My brother is vegan as well, and he is always able to find something to eat at the restaurant, they accommodate him well. The lake and surrounding area is gorgeous to top it off.
